You can access PowerScribe One by selecting the desktop shortcut, or in some environments, by opening it through your PACS integration.
To sign in
- Double-click the Nuance PowerScribe One Client desktop icon
. - Type the username and password provided by your Administrator.
- If this is your first sign-in, you might be prompted to change your password (depending on your system configuration). Type the new password in both fields and then select OK.
- If you have more than one role at this site (for example, if you have a Fellow role, which allows you to sign in as a Resident/Registrar or an Attending/Consultant physician), you are prompted to specify the role you want to use for this session. Select the role and select OK.
- After completing the sign-in process, the application opens, displaying the Explorer screen.
To sign out
Do one of the following:
To close the application completely, select File > Exit from the Menu bar, or select X in the upper right corner of the application.
Note
The X button can be used to close the PowerScribe application unless the customer environment includes on-site integrations that require the application to be closed through a different system or workflow.
To return to the sign-in screen, select the arrow to the right of your username (located in the upper right of your screen) and select Log Off.
